Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP). Campus de Araraquara. Instituto de Química (IQ)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

She has an academic background in applied physics, including a bachelor's degree in biological physics from São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (UNESP), a master's degree in applied physics from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), and a doctoral degree in sciences from the University of São Paulo (USP), specifically from the Institute of Physics of São Carlos (IFSC/USP). Her doctoral research was conducted in an academic-industrial partnership with the chemical and pharmaceutical industry Bayer. Her professional journey is centered around biosensors and nanotechnology, and she possesses a strong expertise in the development and characterization of nanomaterials. Additionally, she has worked with electrical and electrochemical biosensors for applications in health and agriculture. Her experience also includes microfabrication of electrodes and the application of biophysical techniques to investigate amyloid aggregation related to Alzheimer's disease.Throughout her career, she was as a professor at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCAR) for 1 year (temporary contract) and conducted postdoctoral research in the Nanomedicine and Nanotoxicology Group at the Institute of Physics of São Carlos (IFSC/USP). During this phase, her main focus was on developing biosensors for diagnosing Zika, Dengue, and Tuberculosis.Currently, she is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Chemistry of UNESP Araraquara, supported by FAPESP. She is working on a project under the guidance of Professor Paulo Roberto Bueno, which aims to develop an electrochemical capacitive platform for viral detection. Furthermore, she is a founder and a member of the organizing committee for the Symposium on Nanotechnology applied to Medicine and Agribusiness, organized by the Nanomedicine and Nanotoxicology Group (GNano) at IFSC/USP.
