PhD student in the Postgraduate Programme in Microbiology and Immunology (DMIP) at the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP) - São Paulo Campus. Graduated in Biomedicine also at the same university. My background is in pathophysiology and laboratory diagnostics, working mainly on the following topics: parasitological analysis. My research interests focus on the parasite-host relationship, especially the analysis of cell signalling pathways in Schistosoma mansoni. Linked to the Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Parasitology at UNIFESP, in the Discipline of Parasitology, she has developed Scientific Initiation projects entitled In silico and in vitro characterisation of the transcription factor c-jun in Schistosoma mansoni, sponsored by CNPq, and another entitled Identification of microRNAs differentially expressed in adult Schistosoma mansoni worms treated with human TNF-alpha, sponsored by FAPESP. I am currently working on my PhD project entitled The role of sex hormones in the parasite-host relationship in schistosomiasis, funded by CAPES, under the supervision of Dr Katia Cristina. In addition, I'm working as a professor on the professional clinical analyses course at the Barueri Technical Institute Foundation (FIEB). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
