Gustavo Henrique Ferreira Gonçalinho

Doctor of Cardiology candidate at the University of São Paulo School of Medicine (FM-USP). Master of Science in Nutrition in Public Health from the School of Public Health, University of São Paulo (FSP-USP). Post-graduated in Clinical Nutrition at the University of São Paulo School of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto (FMRP-USP). Bachelor of Science in Nutrition by FSP-USP. He is currently a nutritionist-scientist at the Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation Service as well as Immunology Laboratory of the Heart Institute, Hospital das Clínicas, School of Medicine, University of São Paulo (InCor-HCFMUSP). He was a nutritionist-scientist at the Laboratory of Nutritional Biochemistry Applied to Chronic Diseases, at the Department of Nutrition, FSP-USP (2017-2019). He works in the areas of Clinical Nutrition, Biochemistry of Nutrition, Nutrition in Public Health, and Cardiology, with experience in the following areas: therapeutic effects and biochemical mechanisms of diets, nutrients, and bioactive compounds; nutritional and cardiological biomarkers; nutritional semiology; immunonutrition; nutritional pathophysiology; nutritional epidemiology; nutrition and cardiac and vascular functions; cardiovascular epidemiology; cardiovascular prevention and rehabilitation; inflammation; lipid metabolism; obesity; diabetes; chronic coronary syndrome; women's heart disease; heart failure. He was an invited professor in the discipline of Nutritional Assessment in the undergraduate course in Nutrition at Estácio de São Paulo University Center (2021), Course Conclusion Work in the undergraduate course in Nutrition at Mogi das Cruzes University (2022), and in the discipline of Fundamentals of Scientific Research in Medicine in the undergraduate course in Medicine at the University of São Paulo Medical School (2022).
