Betania Campello is a Professor at the School of Applied Sciences (FCA) of the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP). She held a postdoctoral scholarship funded by FAPESP (2023) in the Industrial Engineering program at FCA, UNICAMP.. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management (2011) from the University of Valladolid (UVA), Spain, where she participated in a one-year exchange program at the University of Sassari in Italy, funded by the ERASMUS scholarship. She earned a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering (2017) and a Doctorate in Electrical Engineering (2023) from UNICAMP in Brazil, during which she conducted a doctoral internship at the Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa, Canada. She has experience as an entrepreneur in the information technology field (2012 - 2016) and worked as a manager at Palazzolo Investimentos. Her research area focuses on operations research, data analysis, and quantitative methods for decision-making, specifically: multi-criteria decision analysis, optimization of production processes, predictive analysis, time series analysis, multidimensional data arrays (tensors), multi-objective optimization, and machine learning.
