Everton Castelão Tetila

Everton Castelão Tetila holds a postdoctoral degree in Artificial Intelligence from Embrapa Digital Agriculture (2024), with support from FAPESP (Grants: 2023/03870-8 and 2022/09319-9). He earned his Ph.D. in Local Development from the Universidade Católica Dom Bosco (2019), his M.Sc. in Production Engineering from Universidade Paulista (2007), and his B.Sc. in Computer Science from the State University of Mato Grosso do Sul (2004).He is a tenured professor at the Faculty of Exact and Technological Sciences (FACET) at the Federal University of Grande Dourados (UFGD), where he has been teaching for over a decade in the Computer Engineering and Information Systems programs.His academic experience is in the field of Computer Science, with emphasis on Databases, Big Data/Business Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Computer Vision.He was the recipient of the Mercosur Science and Technology Award 2018 Edition, in the Senior Researcher category, for the work "A deep learning approach for automatic counting of insect pests in soybean crops".
