Bachelor's degree in Biomedicine from the University of the City of São Paulo (UNICID), with experience in scientific research in the areas of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), smoking, and immunology. Conducted Scientific Initiation at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo (FMUSP), in the Experimental Pathophysiology Laboratory, under the guidance of Professor Fernanda D. T. Q. S. Lopes. Worked on projects involving experimental models of COPD, with an emphasis on exposing animals to cigarette smoke, the main project titled "The Role of Obesity in the Exacerbation of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), mediated by the TH17 immune response." Developed skills in laboratory techniques such as immunohistochemistry, assisting in ELISA and PCR assays, as well as procedures related to the euthanasia of animals in accordance with current ethical standards, FAPESP scholarship holder from 2023-2024. Currently, participates in a project focused on the evaluation of different types of collagen (I, III, and V) in patients with severe COPD undergoing lung transplantation. He/she interned in the Clinical Analysis field at AFIP, working in laboratory routines and supporting diagnostics. He/she has an interest in translational research aimed at the interface between immunology and respiratory diseases, focusing on understanding inflammatory mechanisms and their clinical implications.
