I have a degree in Psychology from Universidade Federal do Pará (2010), a master's degree (2013) and a doctorate (2018) in Psychology (Theory and Research of Behavior) from the same university. I have experience in the area of Behavioral Psychology, with emphasis on Experimental Analysis of Behavior (EAB) and in the area of Software Engineering, with emphasis on rapid application development (RAD) for graphical interfaces. At Universidade Federal do Pará, in addition to teaching practices, I worked with translational research at the Laboratory of the Experimental School for Primates, basic research on discriminative processes with eye-tracking (proudly through the laboratory I built during my doctorate to this very end) and collaborated with the basic research on culture from the Laboratory of Social Behavior and Cultural Selection. In businness, I worked as a R&D in a company specializing in home care for autistic children and as a Planning Editor for a publisher of books on Behavior Analysis. In an autonomous and independent way, I also worked developing software for research and, at the same time, as an ad hoc technical-scientific consultant about research feasibility using such software. My sui generis background in AEC and RAD allowed me to program my own experiments on (a) stimulus equivalence with capuchin monkey (Sapajus spp) and; (b) eye movements as a complementary measure to the Positive Aspect Effect. At the same time, I maintain a strong interest in the following research topics: (a) reading and writing blocks; (b) methodological instrumentalization of psychological research; (c) intersections between discriminative processes (operant and respondent) and computer vision; (d) educational systems based on active methodologies; e) self-management and individualized teaching programs.
