Birthplace: Brazil

He holds a Lic. degree in Biological Sciences from the State University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UEMS, 2016), and a Master's and Ph.D. in Natural Resources (Environmental Sciences) from the Center for Studies in Natural Resources (CERNA) at the State University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UEMS). He completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Optics and Photonics Group (GOF) of the Institute of Physics (INFI) at the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS) (2022-2023) with a SET-C scholarship from SISFÓTON-MCTI of MCTI/CNPq (2022-2023) under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Anderson R.L. Caires. He was the principal researcher at AgrÓptica Instrumentação e Serviços Ltda (São Carlos-SP) (2023-2024). He has experience in the fields of Plant Biochemistry and Biophysics, Nanobiotics, and BioPhotonics with an emphasis on Photosynthesis. His work primarily involves the molecular details of light-matter interaction in biologically relevant systems (biomaterials, biomolecules, and biosystems) and nano-enabled materials. Additionally, he works on the development of advanced materials, organic, inorganic, and hybrid nanoparticles, and intelligent nanocarrier systems. He is skilled in ecotoxicological assays in vivo, in vitro, and in silico. His research includes analytical characterization and phenotyping techniques such as optical spectroscopies (steady-state and time-resolved), atomic force microscopy (AFM), electron microscopy (SEM/TEM), dynamic light scattering, X-ray diffraction, electrochemical techniques, enzymatic assays, and photo-chemical/photo-physical studies in photosynthesis. He is currently part of the editorial board of the journal Frontiers in Nanotechnology (Frontiers) in the field of Environmental Nanotechnology, served as a guest editor for Plant Nano Biology (Elsevier), and is a reviewer for various prominent journals and scientific magazines in the fields of Plant Physiology, Material Science, Nanotechnology, and Environmental Science. Among his awards, in 2022, he received first place in the Material Chemistry category at the V EPCEM (UNESP/FEIS/DFQ), an honorable mention in the Nanotoxicology category at the XXII CBTox (collaborator of the work), the Bernhard Gross Award for Best Oral Presentation at the N Symposium of the XIX Brazil MRS Meeting (collaborator of the work), and in 2023, he was awarded the III Talents in Postgraduate Award (TAL-UEMS-2023) for Best Thesis in the field of Natural Resources; Best work in the Material Chemistry category at the V EPCEM (2022). Production indicators: H=12; i10 index=14; approved funding under his coordination above R$ 200 thousand for Research, Development, and Innovation (PDI) projects. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
