Professor in the Department of Linguistics at the Faculty of Philosophy, Languages, and Human Sciences of the University of São Paulo (USP). He obtained his PhD (2018), Masters (2014), and Bachelors degree in Linguistics from USP. Between 2022 and 2023, he was a Visiting Professor at the Institute of Romance Studies at the University of Hamburg, Germany. He completed postdoctoral fellowships at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (2020) and at the Institute of Biosciences at USP (2022 and 2024). His main area of expertise is Grammar Theory, with a specialization in Morphology and its interfaces with Syntax and Semantics. His main research interests include grammatical primitives, word formation, expressivity in morphology, and gender agreement dynamics in Portuguese. He is a member of the Morphology Committee of the Brazilian Linguistics Association (ABRALIN) and serves on the Editorial Board of the journal Continua and the Editora da ABRALIN.
