Maria Carolina Hernandez Ribeiro

Ph.D. in Sciences at the Graduate Program in Sustainability, University of São Paulo (EACH-USP) - and Visiting Scholar at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, University of California San Diego (SIO-UCSD). Specialist in International Law and Law of the Sea from the University of Caxias do Sul (UCS). Master in Science (Biological Oceanography), Bachelor in Oceanography, both from the Oceanographic Institute of University of São Paulo (IOUSP) and in Environmental Engineering from the University of Franca (Unifran), also with an Associate Degree in Business Management from FATEC.Interested in meiofauna organisms (metazoans and foraminifera) from extreme environments (such as cold seeps and polar regions) and other subjects, such as Science Communication, Ecosystem Services, Environmental Governance, and in general, Sustainability.Currently working as a Postdoctoral Researcher in Research Management, within the Education and Science Diffusion modality (linked to the Support Program for the Management of Large Thematic Research Centers, from Unicamp) at the Paulista Center for Energy Transition Studies (CPTEn), based at FEEC-Unicamp and supported by Fapesp.
