Born in Paracatu, Minas Gerais, Brazil. He has a bachelor's and master's degree (scholarship/FAPEMIG) in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Uberlândia - UFU (2016/2018). He also got a PhD (scholarship/CAPES) in Electrical Engineering from the University of São Paulo - USP (2023). He was also a visiting doctoral student (scholarship/CNPq) from the University of Toronto for eight months. In addition, he worked as a temporary professor at UFU for one year.
