Currently, Researcher at ByMyCell Inova Simples Ltda. PhD in Genetics (2024) in the Cytogenetics and Mutagenesis Laboratory of USP in Ribeirão Preto under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Elza Tiemi Sakamoto Hojo, with a sandwich period at King's College London (London, United Kingdom) in the Department of Diabetes and Obesity, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Afshan Malik, funded by the Print/CAPES Program. She has a Master's degree (2019) also from USP-FMRP under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Elza Tiemi Sakamoto Hojo. Graduated in Biomedicine (2016) from the Federal University of Piauí (UFPI), with a sandwich period in Molecular and Human Biology (2014-2015) at the Universität des Saarlandes, Germany, funded by CAPES in the GS/CSF program - Sandwich Graduation - Science without Borders Program. She did Scientific Initiation at the Genetics and Molecular Biology Laboratory of UFPI. She has experience in the areas of Human and Medical Genetics, Molecular Biology, Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and Alzheimer's Disease, cell culture, blood collection and processing, nucleic acid and protein extraction, primer design, PCR, qPCR, genotyping of polymorphisms, gene and protein expression, western blot, flow cytometry, comet assay, training of undergraduate students, project management, assembly of sequencing libraries, next-generation sequencing, among others.
