Birthplace: Brazil

PhD student at the Institute of Physics at the University of São Paulo (IFUSP), Department of Materials Physics and Mechanics (DFMT). Investigates symmetry breaking in quantum materials. Holds a degree in aerospace engineering and a bachelor's degree in Science and Technology from the Federal University of ABC, as well as being a student at the Bachelor's degree in Physics from the same institution. Conducted graduate research projects in the following areas: ab-initio calculation of surface states in the topological insulator Bi2Se3 using DFT with a CNPq scholarship (PIBIC), new materials based on graphene oxide for hydrogen adsorption using DFT with a CNPq scholarship (PIBIC), calculation of electronic and magnetic properties of FeO using DFT with a CNPq scholarship (PIBIC), oxide embedding formation in previously aluminized AISI 304L steel in the "Researching Since Day One" program (PDPD) with a UFABC scholarship, and study of the relationship between different produced aluminides and the growth of their respective oxides in the PIC program with a UFABC scholarship. Holds a private pilot's license, certified by ANAC (255382), and served as a teaching assistant for the course 'Quantum Physics' at UFABC. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
