Biotechnology Engineer graduated from the Catholic University of Santa María (2019), an institution that awarded her a full scholarship for her academic performance and services as a researcher at the university's Renewable Energy Institute, where she gained experience in environmental bioremediation. She completed an international internship at the National Polytechnic Institute in Mexico, where she acquired knowledge in wastewater treatment from the textile industry. She worked as a laboratory analyst at Policlinico Garcia Bragagnini (2020). She was selected by the OAS to pursue a master's degree as a scholarship holder at the Lorena School of Engineering at the University of São Paulo-Brazil (2021). She currently holds a Master of Science degree from the Industrial Biotechnology program, with expertise in molecular biology (expression, production and purification of proteins) and manipulation of oxidative enzymes (LPMOs) for application in lignin. She has knowledge in data analysis of chromatographic and analytical techniques (HPLC, ÄKTA pure, LCMS, NMR, SEC). In addition to her native language, Spanish, she speaks Portuguese and English.
