Hanna Beatriz Couto Monteiro Fernandes de Castro

Professional with a background in Biomedical Engineering and Computer Science from the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP), with experience in Medical Engineering, Image Processing, and Deep Learning applied to healthcare. Currently conducts FAPESP-funded masters research focused on developing computational methods for color normalization in HE histological images, using autoencoders and spectral correspondence techniques. Has prior experience in clinical engineering, acquired during an internship at Hospital São Paulo (SPDM), working with the calibration, maintenance, and management of medical and hospital equipment.Participated in extension and teaching projects, such as the Travessia Program (UNIFESP) and the Academic League of Genetic Counseling, and has completed several complementary training courses in innovation, radiological protection, and medical technologies.
