I am a professor at the Universidade do Estado de Minas Gerais (UEMG), with research interests in Evolution, Eco-Morphology, Comparative Physiology, and the thermoregulation of ectotherms, particularly squamates. I completed my Ph.D. in Brazil as an associate member of Dr. Tiana Kohlsdorf's research group at the Faculdade de Filosofia, Ciências e Letras de Ribeirão Preto, University of São Paulo. My doctoral research focused on patterns of variation in a highly cohesive lizard species from the Tropidurus torquatus complex, exploring associations between habitat specificity, performance, and morpho-physiological traits from an evolutionary eco-morphology perspective.In January 2022, I completed a postdoctoral fellowship at UNIFESP (Diadema campus) before joining UEMG as a faculty member.
