Luisa Mozetic Plastino

PhD candidate in Law and Development at FGV DIREITO SP since 2023, with support from FAPESP (grant no. 2023/07887-2) and the Mário Henrique Simonsen Teaching and Research Scholarship. Since June 2025, she has been conducting doctoral research at the Centre de droit comparé et internationalisation du droit, affiliated with the Institut des sciences juridique et philosophique de la Sorbonne Université Paris 1, under the supervision of Professor Kathia Martin-Chenut. This research internship is funded by the FAPESP Research Internship Abroad Scholarship (BEPE/FAPESP, grant no. 2024/20426-7). From March to November 2023, she was also a CAPES/PROSUP scholarship holder. She holds a Masters degree in Law and Development from FGV DIREITO SP (20202022), supported by the Mário Henrique Simonsen Teaching and Research Scholarship. She earned her LL.B. from the University of São Paulo in 2019. She was a student at the Training School of the Brazilian Society of Public Law (2016) and at the Criminal Sciences Laboratory of the Brazilian Institute for Criminal Sciences (2019). From June 2021 to August 2022, she worked as a Technical Assistant at the Ombudsmans Office of the São Paulo State Public Defender's Office. Prior to that, she collaborated on human rights projects with Instituto Pro Bono and Conectas Human Rights. She has conducted research at the Center for Justice and Constitution at FGV DIREITO SP, at the Center for the Analysis of Liberty and Authoritarianism (LAUT), at the Gender and Law Center at FGV DIREITO SP, and at the Observatory on Violence against Women at CAAF/Unifesp, within the framework of the Reparations Project. Since 2023, she has been a member of the Research Group on Law and State Violence (GPVDE), coordinated by Professor Maíra Machado, and since 2024, of the Human Rights Clinic at Unifesp, coordinated by Professor Carla Osmo.
