Graduated in History from the Institute of Philosophy and Human Sciences at the State University of Campinas (2024), he is currently a master's student in the Graduate Program in History at the same institution, within the research area of Political Dynamics and Languages. His research focuses on the role of capoeiras in the political landscape of Rio de Janeiro in the late 19th century, as well as the historicity of the discourses surrounding this practice, with particular emphasis on the press and parliamentary institutions. His academic interests include the History of Brazil during the Empire and Republic, the African Diaspora, Ethnic-Racial Relations, and Political Cultures. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
