Leandro Norberto da Silva Júnior

Holds a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the Evangelical University of Goiás (2019). He is a Specialist in Agribusiness, with an MBA in Agribusiness from the Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture University of São Paulo (ESALQ/USP) (2024). He is also a Specialist in Laboratory Animal Facility Management from Unyleya College (2024). He holds a Ph.D. in Sciences from the Graduate Program in Anatomy of Domestic and Wild Animals at the School of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science of the University of São Paulo (FMVZ/USP) (2024). He conducts research in the field of tissue bioengineering. He is the Principal Investigator of a FAPESP PIPE-funded project in partnership with the company BioHealTech, focused on the development of bioactive dressings (2024).He has experience in the following areas: Biotechnology, with an emphasis on stem cells, tissue bioengineering, and toxinology; Laboratory Animals, with a focus on management, welfare, experimentation, and reproduction. His main areas of work include: decellularization and recellularization; cell culture; management of laboratory and venomous animals; and comparison of populations through physiological compositions.
