I have a degree in Social Communication from the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas (1993), a master's degree in Communication and Literature from Mackenzie Presbyterian University (2000), and a PhD in Communication and Semiotics from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (2005). I also hold a postdoctoral degree from the Methodist University (2010) and a postdoctoral degree from the University of Minho - Portugal (2015). I am a full professor at the University of Taubaté, where I work in the Department of Social Communication, in the Professional Master's program in Management and Regional Development and in the Master's and Academic Doctorate programs in Planning and Regional Development; and at the Pindamonhangaba College of Technology (FATEC). I am currently the Pro-Rector for Research and Graduate Studies at the University of Taubaté. I have experience in Communication, working mainly on the following topics: communication and regional development, territorial approach to development, communication and urban space, public and governmental communication.
