Professor Doctor MS3.1 of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP). He works in Teaching in the following areas: attention to obstetric care (prenatal care, childbirth, puerperium), normal and high-risk pregnancy, specifical-obstetrical and clinical complications, specialized prenatal care, assistance with violence against women. Primary research interests include: assessment and surveillance of cesarean rates, with a special focus on the Robson Classification; preeclampsia, focusing on the clinical and social determinants of the disease, as well as the use of biomarkers and other indices for predicting the occurrence of the disease, its severity and prevention of prematurity or prediction of timing of delivery; assessment of the quality of obstetric care from the perspective of women. He serves as a member of the Research Ethics Committee at UNICAMP and as a member of the Commission for Monitoring Caesarean Rates at CAISM / UNICAMP.I am also a member of FEBRASGO, serving on the following Committees: National Specialized Committee on Violence Against Women and National Committee for Medical Residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics.Previously, he was an Obstetrician at the Obstetrics Division of CAISM / Unicamp (2022-2023), Obstetrician and Gynecologist at the Sumaré State Hospital (2017-2022) and Professor Doctor I at Faculdade São Leopoldo Mandic (2017-2022).
