Lucas Pinheiro Coutinho

Researcher, masters degree in chemistry (2021-2023), focus on physical chemistry, at Universidade Federal do Ceará (UFC). Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry (2017-2021) at UFC. Currently a doctorate's degree candidate at the Computational Research in Simulation and Spectroscopy (Corse) group, at the Instituto de Química of the Universidade de São Paulo (IQ-USP). With a background in Theoretical and Computational Chemistry. Previously, he studied Heterogeneous Catalysis in the conversion of glycerol by metallic catalysts at the Laboratório de Adsorção e Catálise (LANGMUIR) and molecular dynamics (DM) simulations of biological systems and quantum mechanical models for evaluating biological activities using Functional Density Theory (DFT) at the Theoretical Chemistry Group (GQT), as a scientific initiation at UFC. As a master's degree, studied the elucidation of the reaction mechanism through hybrid theoretical calculations ONIOM/QM:MM of biological systems in humans and the use of quantum methods such as QTAIM and Fukui for dye analysis and DM simulations for the development of new materials.
