Masters student in the Graduate Program in Genetics and Molecular Biology (PPG-GBM) at the University of Campinas (Unicamp), focusing on the role of chemotactic molecules in neurodevelopment using a monogenic autism model. Holds a Bachelor's degree in Science and Technology from Ilum School of Science, part of the Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM), where they participated in research projects across various teams, including: the Neurodevelopment and Multiscale Connectivity group, Computational Biology group, Cancer Biology group, Proteomics group, and Biomolecules group at the National Laboratory of Biosciences (LNBio); the Enzymology and Protein Engineering group at the National Laboratory of Biorenewables (LNBR); the Devices division at the National Nanotechnology Laboratory (LNNano); and the Soft and Biological Matter division at the Manacá beamline (MAcromolecular Micro and NAno CrystAllography) of the Brazilian Synchrotron Light Laboratory (LNLS/Sirius). Conducted an undergraduate research project funded by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP), investigating the heterogeneous nucleation of protein crystals using metal-organic frameworks (MOFs). Developed the undergraduate thesis project focused on the development of an electronic device for the detection of metabolites associated with autism. Member of the winning team of the 2023 iGEM Design League. Has experience in molecular biology, cell biology, biophysics, nanotechnology, and in leading multidisciplinary projects. Main research interests include neurodevelopmental disorders and neurodegenerative diseases. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
