Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Faculdade de Medicina de Ribeirão Preto (FMRP)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

Biomedical scientist and PhD candidate in the Graduate Program in Pharmacology at the Ribeirão Preto Medical School University of São Paulo (USP), with experience in preclinical neuroscience, cell culture, and bioinformatics applied to biomedicine. Currently investigates the effects of extracellular vesicles derived from pulmonary epithelial and neuroblastoma cells infected with SARS-CoV-2 on cultures of neurons and glial cells derived from the human olfactory neuroepithelium. Assesses parameters such as cell viability, proliferation, and senescence, integrating wet lab experimentation with transcriptomic data analysis from bulk and single-cell RNA sequencing. Proficient in programming languages such as R and BASH, with experience in developing pipelines for transcriptomic analysis (including Seurat, DESeq2, limma, pseudotime analysis, gene enrichment, among others). Skilled in laboratory techniques such as cell culture, qPCR, ELISA, and immunofluorescence. During the master's degree, worked with animal models of cerebral ischemia, evaluating neuronal death and motor deficits through behavioral tests and histological markers.
