Professor in the Graduate Program in Psychology (Stricto Sensu) at Universidade São Francisco - Campinas (CAPES 7). Served as Program Coordinator from 2022 to 2024. Earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM) and both a Master's and Doctorate in Psychology from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). Research focuses on socioemotional development in endurance sports athletes and response style control in self-report assessments of personality traits and mental disorder symptoms. Additional research interests include psychopathy, personality disorders, depression, and socioemotional competencies in general. Currently an Associate Editor for the journal Psychological Test Adaptation and Development. Previously served as Editor-in-Chief of the journal Psychological Assessment (2015-2022) and as Consulting Editor for the journal Psychological Assessment (2016-2020).
