Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP). Instituto de Biologia (IB)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

I hold a Bachelors degree in Biology from the Universidade do Vale do Paraíba (2016), a Masters degree in Animal Biology (Zoology), and a Ph.D. in Ecology and Conservation from the Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul (2019 and 2023). Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Universidade Estadual de Campinas, funded by FAPESP. My research focuses on leveraging data science to address knowledge gaps in the natural history, community ecology, macroecology, and biogeography of vertebrates across multiple scales. Throughout my career, I have worked as a consultant on herpetofauna and mammal studies in diverse ecosystems, including the Atlantic Forest, Pantanal, and Cerrado. Additionally, I have served as a data scientist, applying my academic expertise to solve business challenges through programming in R and Python, using version control tools like Git, and managing databases. I also have basic knowledge of geoprocessing using QGIS and R. Moreover, I have worked as a researcher in the non-profit sector, contributing significantly to advancing the understanding of the biology of various species. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
