Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Faculdade de Zootecnia e Engenharia de Alimentos (FZEA)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

Ph.D. candidate in Animal Science at the School of Animal Science and Food Engineering, University of São Paulo (FZEA-USP), funded by FAPESP (Grant #2023/13173-2). Currently undertaking a research internship (sandwich Ph.D.) at North Dakota State University, USA, with additional support from FAPESP (Grant #2025/06537-3). Holds a Masters degree in Animal Nutrition and Production from the School of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science, USP (FMVZ-USP, 2022), and a B.Sc. in Animal Science from the Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT, 2020). Also holds a graduate certificate in Business Management from ESALQ-USP (2023). Has experience in feed evaluation for ruminants under grazing and feedlot systems, with emphasis on in situ and in vitro digestibility, gas production kinetics, and feed chemical analysis. During the master's program, worked with bovine metabolism trials involving forage-based diets supplemented with feed additives (ionophores and essential oils), acquiring skills in gas chromatography for ammonia nitrogen and short-chain fatty acid quantification. Currently develops research on energy and protein metabolism in hepatic and muscle tissues, employing systems biology approaches through omics techniques (metabolomics and proteomics), gene expression, and DNA methylation, with emphasis on bioinformatics tools. As an undergraduate, received a scientific initiation scholarship (20172019), served as a teaching assistant in Biochemistry (2016), and was an active member and treasurer of the Integrated Livestock Study Group (GEPI; 20172019). Completed a professional internship at the Laboratory of Animal Nutrition and Reproduction (LNRAESALQ/USP) in 2020.metabolism in liver and muscle tissues, using systems biology approaches through omics (metabolomics and proteomics) and molecular (gene expression and DNA methylation) analyses, with an emphasis on learning and applying bioinformatics tools.
