Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Escola Superior de Agricultura Luiz de Queiroz (ESALQ)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

I hold a degree in Agronomy from the Federal University of Espírito Santo (2017), a masters degree in Agricultural Engineering from the Federal University of Viçosa (2018-2020), and a Ph.D. in Agronomy (Soil Science and Plant Nutrition) from ESALQ/USP (2020-2024), with emphasis on pedology, pedometrics, and digital soil mapping. During my doctoral studies, I conducted research focused on spatial modeling of soil attributes and classes at large scales, integrating environmental and spectral data through machine learning algorithms. I have experience in pedological mapping, proximal and remote sensing (UAVs, hyperspectral and multispectral sensors), geographic information systems (GIS), geoprocessing, computer vision, and digital agriculture. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher in the Graduate Program in Soil Science and Plant Nutrition at ESALQ/USP, working on the modeling and mapping of soil loss in Brazilian agricultural areas and its relationship with soil quality indicators. My work involves the application of data science techniques to soil studies, using R, Python, and Google Earth Engine, with a focus on machine learning, spatial analysis, and soil property prediction, contributing to the advancement of quantitative pedology in the context of digital agriculture and environmental land management.
