Birthplace: Brazil

I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in the Graduate Program in Hydraulic Engineering and Sanitation (SHS-PPG) at the School of Engineering of São Carlos, University of São Paulo. I hold a degree in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Ceará (UFC) and in General Engineering from the École Centrale de Lille, France. At UFC, I was honored with the highest academic distinction, Summa Cum Laude. During my undergraduate studies, I worked in two areas: computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and water supply systems optimization, through PIBIC/CAPES scientific initiation scholarships. In my master's degree, I focused on understanding the dynamics of river-aquifer interactions across Brazil using field data. I was awarded the Aldo Rebouças Prize by the Brazilian Groundwater Association for my master's research. Throughout my undergraduate and master's studies, I served as a teaching assistant in various civil engineering courses. I developed strong skills in software such as Excel, Matlab, EPANET, ANSYS FLUENT, and programming languages like Python and R. I am a member of the Youth Technical Committee of the Brazilian Water Resources Association (ABRHidro), the HELPING Working Group Communication of the International Association for Hydrological Sciences (IAHS), and the UNESCO Groundwater Youth Network. My particular interest lies in the study of transition zones between surface water and groundwater. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
