Graduated in Speech Therapy from the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP). He was president of the UNIFESP Academic Voice League, addressing the theme "Science in clinical practice". He dedicated himself to Scientific Initiation, funded by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP), with the research "Respiratory Dynamics of Vocally Healthy Young Men During Phonatory Tasks to Assess Vocal Functionality: Normative Data for Clinical Practice", which used respiratory inductance plethysmography.
