Luciana Renata de Oliveira

Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Bologna (Italy), with a bachelor's and master's degree in Physics from UFSM (Brazil), and postdoctoral training in Physics (UFSM) and Biophysics (UT Southwestern Medical Center, USA, and InCor-USP). Her scientific background integrates theoretical physics, computational biology, and artificial intelligence to investigate complex biological processes across multiple scales.She has extensive experience in stochastic modeling of biological systems, using methods based on the chemical master equation and Monte Carlo simulations to study signaling networks, protein-protein interactions, and protein structure through deep learning techniques.Her projects range from receptor dynamics in the plasma membrane and protein structure analysis to the modeling of focal adhesions and physicochemical phenomena such as droplet behavior on superhydrophobic surfaces.
