Giovana Correia de Assis Netto is pursuing a master's degree at the University of São Paulo (USP) in the Department of Chemical Engineering, under the supervision of Professor Moises Teles dos Santos and is a FAPESP scholarship holder. Currently, she is conducting a research-internship at LGC, INP, Toulouse, France. Her research focuses on the utilization of agro-industrial residues through valorization in biorefineries, applying mathematical modeling, simulation, and optimization to achieve the best results. She is a professional with a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Campinas (Unicamp) and a history of academic involvement and professional experience. During her undergraduate studies, she excelled as a thermodynamics teaching assistant, a PIBIC scholarship holder with publications in chemical engineering conferences, and was honored with the "Honra ao Mérito" award by CREA and CRQ SP in 2021. Additionally, she actively participated in extracurricular activities, including her work at the junior enterprise Propeq and the organization of SEQ. Her professional career includes internships at Air Liquide, DSM, and Visagio, where she played crucial roles in process engineering and management consulting.
