I have a degree in Biological Sciences from Mackenzie Presbyterian University and a PhD in Bioinformatics from the University of São Paulo (USP - 2024) under the supervision of Dr. Aline Maria da Silva and co-supervision of Dr. João Carlos Setubal, as a CNPq Fellow. I worked for two years as a Bioinformatician at the Hospital das Clinicas (HC - FMUSP) on the PROADI project Mapa Genomas Brasil. I am currently a FAPESP TT5 fellow at CEPID B3, based at the University of São Paulo. My main area of research is bioinformatics and comparative genomics of bacteria and bacteriophages. I have experience in developing automated pipelines for bioinformatics using Bash, Python, R and workflow languages NextFLow and SnakeMake. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
