PhD in Sociology and Political Science (with an emphasis on Sociology) from the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina with a sandwich period at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales in Paris. Master in Political Sociology and Degree in Social Sciences also from UFSC. She is currently a postdoctoral fellow in the Postgraduate Program in Sociology at USP (with a FAPESP scholarship) and linked to the Núcleo de Sociologia da Cultura (NSC-USP). She has research experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Political Sociology, with an emphasis on studies on ruling groups, elites, institutions of justice, law and the Public Prosecutor's Office.
