Iwldson Guilherme da Silva Santos

Bachelors degree in Mathematics (teaching-focused) and Masters degree in Meteorology, both from the Federal University of Alagoas (UFAL); Ph.D. in Meteorology from the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG); postdoctoral research in an industrial RD setting (PDI) conducted at the University of São Paulo (USP) in partnership with the environmental consulting firm LENTZ Meio Ambiente. Currently a researcher at LAMMA (Laboratory of Environment and Applied Meteorology). Research interests include Applied and Computational Mathematics, Applied Meteorology, and Geosciences, with a focus on: wind energy, environmental monitoring, statistical data analysis, forecasting using Artificial Neural Networks (ANN), microplastic modeling in the ocean, and programming in MATLAB and Python environments.
