Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Instituto de Química de São Carlos (IQSC)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

Ph.D. student in Chemistry at the University of São Paulo (USP), supported by a scholarship from the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) (2023 - present); member of the Bioanalytics, Microfabrication, and Separations Group (BioMicS, IQSC - USP) and the National Institute of Science and Technology for Bioanalytics (INCTBio). Holds a bachelor's degree in Industrial Chemistry from the State University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UEMS) (2019 - 2022). Awarded a PIBIC undergraduate research scholarship (2019 to 2020; 2020 to 2021; and 2021 to 2022) in the major field of Earth and Exact Sciences, with a focus on Chemistry, specifically in the subfields of Natural Product Chemistry and Analytical Chemistry. Developed research involving medicinal plants, including the analysis of chemical compounds, chromatographic profiles, antioxidant activity, sun protection factor, as well as toxicity tests using Artemia salina and genotoxicity analysis using Allium cepa. Additionally, contributed to the development and evaluation of topical formulations derived from medicinal plants. Has experience in chromatographic, spectroscopic, and microbiological techniques for the analysis of plant-derived samples. Currently conducts research in the major field of Earth and Exact Sciences, with a focus on Bioanalytical Chemistry. Specifically, the project involves the use of Capillary Electrophoresis technology with a CESI interface coupled to Mass Spectrometry (CESI-MS) for the analysis of Post-Translational Modifications (PTMs) in reference Monoclonal Antibodies (mAbs) for Alzheimer's disease and their biosimilars.
