Associate Professor at the Institute of Computing, Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM). Holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of São Paulo and a Ph.D. in Informatics in Education from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. Permanent faculty member of the Graduate Program in Informatics (PPGI/UFAM). From 2019 to 2021, served as Associate Editor of the Brazilian Journal of Computers in Education and is currently Senior Editor of the Journal of the Brazilian Computer Society. Since 2021, has held a Productivity Fellowship in Technological Development and Innovative Extension (CNPq). Coordinated the Introduction to Computer Programming course at UFAM for several years. Current research focuses on analyzing student behavior in programming learning environments, using learning pathways and data-driven approaches to predict educational outcomes and support adaptive learning through Learning Analytics.
