Graduated in Dentistry from the Ribeirão Preto School of Dentistry, University of São Paulo (FORP-USP) in 2003, with a Masters degree (2006) and Ph.D. (2010) in Restorative Dentistry (Operative Dentistry), also from FORP-USP. Served as an undergraduate and graduate faculty member, researcher, and coordinator of the Dental School at the University of Ribeirão Preto (UNAERP) from 2010 until December 2023. Completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Operative Dentistry at the University of Iowa, USA, from August 2023 to October 2024. Currently, she is an Associate Professor in Operative Dentistry at Indiana University. She has experience in the field of Restorative Dentistry, focusing primarily on the following topics: erosive tooth wear, dental bleaching, restoration of endodontically treated teeth, and adhesion to dental substrates.
