Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Instituto Oceanográfico (IO)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

Graduated in Oceanography from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), with studies from 2015 to 2019. During this period, he conducted three Scientific Initiation projects in the field of Paleoceanography, focused on the temporal evolution of the Southwest Atlantic margin based on planktonic foraminifera assemblages. Additionally, he has experience in expeditions with the Brazilian Navy and in the Navio-Escola Ciências do Mar program, sponsored by CNPq. He completed his Master's degree in the Postgraduate Program in Coastal and Oceanic Systems at the Center for Marine Studies (CEM), also at UFPR, finishing in 2023. Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Renata Hanae Nagai, he investigated the environmental conditions of the Paranaguá Estuarine Complex (both in the present and recent past). During this time, he gained experience in field campaigns and laboratory work to collect sedimentological data and sediment elemental composition. These were applied to identify transport patterns and anthropogenic impacts from land use and occupation over the last 120 years. He is currently affiliated with the Marine Proxies Laboratory (ProxyMar), under the coordination of Prof. Dr. Renata Hanae Nagai. He is pursuing a Ph.D. at the Oceanographic Institute of the University of São Paulo (IO-USP), which started in July 2024, aiming to investigate the dynamics of the Santos Bifurcation since the Last Glacial Maximum (25,000 years ago).
