Graduated in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Acre (UFAC) and holds a master's degree in Biological Sciences (Entomology) from the National Institute for Amazonian Research (INPA) in Manaus. My professional background includes experience in parasitology and freshwater fish ecology, as well as conducting biomonitoring using Benthic Macroinvertebrates and engaging in environmental education activities in the Western Amazon region. Currently affiliated with both the Aquatic Ecology Laboratory at UFAC and the Cytotaxonomy and Aquatic Insects Laboratory at INPA. My primary research interests revolve around the biology, taxonomy, and diversity of aquatic invertebrates, with a particular focus on the order Ephemeroptera (Insecta) in South America.
