Caique Campos de Oliveira

Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Nanosciences and Advanced Materials at the Federal University of ABC (UFABC), the academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Physics and Science and Technology from the same institution. Affiliated with the Interdisciplinary Group of Electronic Structure and Atomistic Dynamics (GEEDAI), research activities center around the investigation of carbon-based 2D surfaces and materials for environmental and technological applications. Expertise lies in materials modeling utilizing first-principles computational methods, such as Density Functional Theory (DFT) and Ab-initio Molecular Dynamics (AIMD), with a specific focus on electronic properties, catalysis and surface-molecule interactions. Research interests encompass 2D Nanostructures and their electronic properties, computational catalysis beyond the computational hydrogen electrode model, Materials informatics, and other applications of machine learning in materials science.
