Álvaro José Camilher de Oliveira

Undergraduate student in Animal Science at the University of São Paulo (USP), with experience in the area of breeding, production, and nutrition of ruminants, with an emphasis on dairy cattle. Engaged in complementary activities, starting in October 2023, at the Dairy Cattle Research Laboratory (LPBL) FMVZ, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Francisco de Palma Rennó, at the Fernando Costa campus of the University of São Paulo, located in Pirassununga. Among the activities, I participate in feed management, milking management, calf management, reproductive management, bromatological analyses, and silage management and production. I have knowledge in the field of nutrition additives in the total mixed ration (TMR) of dairy cows, the main research line of the laboratory I am involved in. Member of the Dairy Calf Academic League, supervised by Prof. Dr. Arlindo Saran Netto, engaging in article discussions, field activities, and technical visits in the areas of calf health, nutrition, and welfare.
