I have a degree in Electrical Engineering from the School of Engineering of Lins-EEL (1981), a master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the School of Engineering of São Carlos University of São Paulo-EESC-USP (1989) and a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo-EPUSP (1995). From May 1986 to February 2018 I held the position of Associate Doctor Professor II (Career MS-5.2, whose maximum is MS-6) at the State University of Campinas, at the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering. I have experience in the areas of Electrical Engineering and Agricultural Engineering, with emphasis on the Use of Electric Energy in Agricultural Activities and Processes, acting mainly on the following themes: rural energization, energy planning, decentralized generation, electrical efficiency, that is, conservation and rational use of electric energy in rural buildings and ambience in animal and plant production. In the same period mentioned above, I was a researcher at the Interdisciplinary Nucleus of Energy Planning-NIPE-UNICAMP, where I developed research in the area of renewable sources, specifically in prospecting potential and specific applications of photovoltaic and wind energy.
