Birthplace: Brazil

Interdisciplinary experience in Science and Technology applied to Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, and Data Science. Throughout the undergraduate program at Ilum School of Science, I have developed a solid theoretical and practical background, with emphasis on Materials Science and computational methods. I participate in research projects at the Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM), collaborating with groups from LNNano and LNBio.I have conducted several research projects with both experimental and computational focus: synthesis and characterization of TEOS-based materials and fabrication of silicacotton composites; operation of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) including sample preparation, acquisition parameter optimization, and image processing, in collaboration with the LNNano Electron Microscopy Group; crystallization and X-ray diffraction of the Mayaro virus capsid protein and computational structure determination with LNBio; development of Natural Language Processing (NLP) pipelines for extraction and analysis of biomedical literature from PubMed (ADHD studies); and simulations of electronic and spectroscopic properties (DFT and XANES) applied to the study of materials and metallic alloys. Currently, I am conducting my undergraduate thesis on the computational design of high-entropy alloys for hydrogen storage. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
