Graduated in Biological Sciences with an emphasis on Marine Biology and currently an undergraduate student in Biological Sciences with an emphasis on Coastal Management at the São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (UNESP), Institute of Biosciences, Coastal Campus (São Vicente). She works at the Laboratory of Ecology and Animal Behavior (LABECOM), under the supervision of Dr. Tânia Márcia Costa and co-supervision of Dr. Ana Paula Ferreira and Dr. Fernando Rafael de Grande, conducting research in the fields of ecosystem ecology, thermal ecology, animal behavior, and physiology, with a focus on the effects of climate change. She is currently a FAPESP undergraduate research fellow. In addition, she is a member of the international NGO BWEEMS (Black Women in Ecology, Evolution and Marine Science) and the Black Women Working Group of the League of Women for the Ocean.
