Wesley Ladeira Caputo

Graduated in Biological Sciences, both Bachelor's and Teaching modalities, from the State University of Northern Paraná (UENP) - Campus Luiz Meneghel. During the undergraduate program, participated in the Voluntary Scientific Initiation Program (PICV), conducting research on the enteric nervous system (ENS), focusing on aging and supplementation with Agaricus blazei Murril (ABM). As a scholarship holder of the Scientific Initiation Program (PIBIC), developed studies on neuroplasticity and obesity in the context of the ENS. Worked for two years as a volunteer teaching assistant in the disciplines of Cellular Biology, Embryology, and Human Anatomy. Was a member of the Institutional Teaching Initiation Scholarship Program (PIBID), contributing to teaching activities and the production of educational materials. Participated in the creation of video lessons for Cellular Biology and Biochemistry. Has experience in the areas of Experimental Pathology, Bioinformatics, and Morphology, and was a student member of the Scientific Initiation Council (CIC) at UENP. Completed a Master's degree in the Graduate Program in Experimental Pathology at the State University of Londrina (UEL), with research on hepatocellular carcinoma and bioinformatics, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Fábio Rodrigues Ferreira Seiva. Currently, is a PhD student in the Graduate Program in General and Applied Biology at the Institute of Biosciences, São Paulo State University (UNESP), where they investigate models of hepatocellular carcinoma induction and therapies with melatonin and cisplatin, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Fábio Rodrigues Ferreira Seiva, exploring therapeutic strategies for the treatment of liver cancer.
