Holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from Centro Universitário Fundação Santo André (2008), a Master's degree in Social History from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo PUC-SP (2011), and a PhD in Economic Development, with an emphasis on Economic History, from the Institute of Economics at Unicamp (2018). He has been a sociologist and professor in the Social Sciences program at the Federal University of Roraima (UFRR) since 2011. Between 2014 and 2019, he took part in academic expeditions across ten Latin American countries through the research and outreach program Realidade Latino-Americana, with which he remains involved.Since 2022, he has been a member of the Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Society and Borders (PPGSOF/UFRR), contributing to the research line "Territorialities and Socioenvironmental Conflicts in the Amazon." In 2023, he became a senior researcher at the Brazilian Forum on Public Security (FBSP), notably contributing to the Cartographies of Violence in the Amazon project. From 2022 to 2023, he was part of the investigative journalism project Amazon Underworld, which received national and international awards and honors. In 2024, he founded the Interpretive Laboratory: Amazon, Illegalities, and Violence (LAIV), which has become a strategic hub for interdisciplinary research and institutional collaboration. In 2025, he assumed the coordination of the Monitoring Unit linked to the Decentralized Execution Agreement (TED) between UFRR and the Ministry of Indigenous Peoples (MPI).His research focuses on applying the concepts of configuration and social field to analyze power networks, domination, and governance in Indigenous Lands and border regions of the Continental Amazon, with an emphasis on illegal mining fronts in territories located in the state of Roraima.
