Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Faculdade de Medicina de Ribeirão Preto (FMRP)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

Bachelors degree in Biochemistry from the Federal University of Viçosa (2007), Masters (2009) and Ph.D. (2013) in Biochemistry from the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto (FMRP-USP), with a postdoctoral fellowship at the same institution (2014). Since 2015, I have been a researcher at the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz-Ceará), working on the development of antibodies and enzymes with therapeutic and biotechnological applications. My research focuses on recombinant expression, protein engineering, and the development of innovative biomolecules, with an emphasis on monoclonal antibodies, antibody fragments, and therapeutic enzymes, using approaches such as rational design, directed evolution, and phage display selection. I am a permanent faculty member of the Graduate Program in Biotechnology of Natural Resources at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC), teaching courses on biochemistry and protein engineering, as well as supervising undergraduate research students, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows. Currently, I also serve as Chair of the Internal Biosafety Committee (CIBio) at Fiocruz-Ceará, reinforcing my commitment to the management and regulation of research in biotechnology and public health. I coordinate projects focused on antibody engineering with antitumor activity and cellular immunotherapy based on CAR-T cells. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
