Postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Biochemistry and Organic Chemistry, Institute of Chemistry, UNESP, Araraquara. Holds a Ph.D. in Sciences with an emphasis on Natural and Synthetic Products from the Graduate Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto (University of São Paulo), including a sandwich period at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, United Kingdom, funded by the CAPES/PrInt program. Holds a degree in Pharmacy from Centro Universitário do Norte (UNINORTE), with a sandwich period at the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Saint John's University (Queens Campus, New York, USA), through the Science Without Borders program (CAPES). Recipient of a full scholarship from the University for All Program (PROUNI). Currently, conducts research on bioprospecting, structural elucidation, and biological activity evaluation of secondary metabolites from macroalgae and algicolous fungi from polar regions (Antarctica) and tropical regions (Brazilian coast). Has experience as a visiting researcher at the Natural Products Metabolomics Laboratory of the Strathclyde Institute of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences (SIPBS) and as a visiting student at the Molecular Biology Laboratory of Saint John's University, where he participated in practical activities related to Pharmaceutical Research I. Possesses expertise in metabolomics studies and antibiofilm activity assays (SIPBS), natural product chemistry of Amazonian plants, cultivation methods, and antimalarial assays in vitro against Plasmodium falciparum strains and ex vivo against Plasmodium vivax strains. These studies were conducted in collaboration with the Active Principles of the Amazon Laboratory, the Malaria and Dengue Laboratory at the National Institute of Amazonian Research (INPA), and the Tropical Medicine Foundation Dr. Heitor Vieira Dourado.
