Camila Silva holds a bachelor's degree in Information Science and Documentation from the University of São Paulo, Ribeirão Preto, and a master's degree from the Interunit Graduate Program in Museology at the University of São Paulo with research on documentation in art museum collections. She holds a PhD in Information Science from the School of Communications and Arts at the University of São Paulo, in the research line Information and Knowledge Organization. She was a postgraduate intern at the Getty Research Institute (2020 - 2021), participated in the translation initiative for the SPECTRUM museum documentation standard, by the Collections Trust (2022 - 2023), was part of the multidisciplinary team of the MISHA Brazil Project, a partnership between USP and the Rochester Institute of Technology (2023 - 2024), and was a member of the organizing committee of academic events such as ICHT (2023), RITe (2024) and Encontro MISHA.br (2024).
